Web Tension Control

Advanced Engineering Systems has engineered many different types of tension and web handling systems. These include systems for the folding carton industry as well as the flexible packaging and label industries.

AES Engineers have experience designing tension systems utilising DC and AC motors, brakes, dancing rollers, load cells and PA controllers. Our engineers are qualified to determine and design the best tension system to suit your current web handling requirement, whether the substrate is 9µm aluminium foil or 400gsm cardboard.
For applications where special equipment such as pull rollers and dancing roller assemblies are required, AES has its own equipment capable of being custom designed into specific applications.
